Nú is a phenomenal visual storyteller. We were both separately hired to create a video for a large client, and as a result we were never connected during the creative process. It was a serious treat to see her visual interpretation of my verbal work in the final product, which wonderfully captured all of the nuances I had intended, while adding plenty of her own flare — regardless of working outside her native language.

Collage art offers tremendous potential for connection, and Nú’s blend of often classic photography and film with contemporary editing techniques allows the viewer to span both time and space to connect with visual concepts that immediately feel personal and profound. Animation is in general an incredibly powerful medium, and Nu’s ability to manipulate existing media into new narratives makes her skill set invaluable to anyone determined to tell a good story.
